Scope of the meeting
The face-to-face meeting of KAGRA Collaboration will be held at Kashiwa campus of the University of Tokyo. The venue of the meeting is the large conference room on 6th floor in Kashiwa Research Complex (neighboring building of ICRR). The objective of this meeting is to let all collaboration members know the current status of KAGRA and is to exchange information among subsystems for conducting the project. As for the first subject of this meeting, we need to sort out all schedules of subsystems and to establish global installation plan with combining all manpower for the practical installation start in this summer. Second, we will try to define the membership of KAGRA at this stage where we face the practical work of installation & commissioning, where manpower of collaboration members needs to be integrated as much as possible. Apart from this membership, we will also discuss about co-authorship for possible publications in future.
In this meeting, we have a sub-meeting of the International Board of Representatives in the evening of the first day, 13th, February and social banquet on the second day, 14th, February.
I hope that we can successfully fix the installation plan with letting all members’ mind be coherently aligned in the operation of KAGRA in 2015.
Program
The registration desk opens at 10:00 on 13th, February and the first session begins at 11:00. New members are introduced at the beginning and status report of KAGRA is presented in the morning. SEO report is given in the afternoon and discussion of the installation starts in the last session of the first day. We have a meeting of the board of international representatives after the end of this session. On the second day, after we have two guest talks from Virgo and Australia, subsystem reports will be presented by the end of the second day. We have a social banquet in the evening of the second day. The third day serves for the subsystem report and concluding session, which ends by noon.
