Scope
This subsystem provides the optical viewports mounted on the vacuum chambers to pass the optical beams into or from the LCGT in-vacuum interferometer. The optical beams include...
The viewport subsystems that will be dedicated to the cryo-vacuum chambers for the future LCGT are NOT included in the scope of this subsystem so far.

General Description
At the viewports, we can extract optical beams from the interferometer placed inside the vacuum chambers. The optical beams would be utilized for length and alignment sensing and control scheme, optical levers for suspensions, and other monitoring devices (CCD or equivalent video cameras).
For example, the viewport would be equipped with
- AR coating for 1064 nm and 532 nm
- Wedge angle
Details are described in Characteristics section.
Functions
Beams for
- Transmission of IR/Green lasers
- Optical Lever transmitter/receiver
- Video camera
- Illumination
- Diagnostic

Procurement process and plans
Each subgroup (IOO, MIF, VIS) will collect up the information of the required viewports for themselves, and show it to AOS; then AOS will send whole of it to VIS, and VIS will set the procurement process forward.
