Past week report

• Bent and formed six blades to mount on the TF base.
• Mounted the blades on the TF base.
• Put the damper ring with magnets on the F1.
• Mounted the PI on the bridge frame with the maraging wire.
• Suspended the filter chain from the TF. Needed load was about 700kg for the TF in spite of target load of 580kg.
• Removed one blade and rearranged two blade. The TF could work without additional load.
• Suspended the damper ring from the TF base. One hook screw galled.
• Cabled between the F1 and the upper small hexagon.
• Inserted the wire clamp.
• Dismounted the PI and bridge frame.
• Checked the cable connections.
• Lifted down the F1 into the corrugate tube. The top ring sit on the frame lock.
• Installed the PI into the top chamber.

Plan for coming weeks

• Cable to the feedthroughs.
• Set the ACCs.
• Calibrate the LVDTs for the BF damper and the IP.

Type B (Mark)

Report for week of 4/9

• We packed away the SRM SF and BF.
• After several failed attempts with one secondary prism, Mark finished the SR3 prism/magnet gluing.
• Tanioka-kun built two IRMs (less OSEMs).
• Enzo built an RM.
• Kozu-kun and Enzo calibrated one set of 6 IM OSEMs for SR3. (6 OSEMs for SRM remain to be done.)
• Hirata-san aligned the assembly frame, installed the interface bars and IM ring, and installed the IM.
• Eleonora and Izumi-san revisited the BS length to tilt coupling, which had degraded, and got it working again.

• Shoda-san at Mitaka.
• Hirata-san at Kamioka Mon-Wed, then Mitaka.
• Kozu-kun at Kamioka Wed-Fri (but may be working with PEM on Fri).
• Others (Mark, Enzo, Tanioka-kun) at Kamioka full week

• Continue SR3 Hang

  • Cable RM OSEMs.

Discussion

Composite SRM design (Shoda)

• After some discussions, a new idea of gluing the HR surface to a PEEK ring emerged.
• Shoda-san will elaborate on the idea and report to the relevant people.

ETMY tower repair (Takahashi, Okutomi)

• According to Okutomi-kun's TF measurements, even the F3 stage may be stuck.
• We should be able to release the F3 GAS by adjusting the mass on the BF from the cross-tube.
• We will try this before O3.
• Takahashi-san will make a schedule for the ETMY repair works by the next VIS meeting.

Phase 1 Operation Reschedule

• New schedule

• Mark, Enzo, Okutomi, Tanioka, Kozu will join the operation.
• Shoda-san will join remotely through Skype or something (communication method will be announced by Mark)

LVDT drivers

• Staocktake

• Buy 10 sets
• Check the broken boards in Mitaka
• Enzo will bring the broken LVDT box into the site again to check if the remaining channels are alive or not.

OSEM rebuild

• Two SR OSEMs have low open voltage
• We will replace the LED and PDs on them.
• Shoda-san will send spare parts from Mitaka to Kamioka.
