Outline of the meeting

The 20th F2F meeting will be held at Toyama University as usual as our summer event. We plan to discuss the status of phase-2 construction, preparations for joining the LIGO/Virgo's O3, and other urgent issues.

  • Registration page -- Registration page is open!

  • Registration deadline is August 7(Tue) 23:59 JST for the registration with the banquet, August 16 (Thur) 23:59 JST without banquet.

  • Banquet will be held in the evening of the second day at the university cafeteria. The banquet fee is FREE (maybe).

Poster Presentation Prize

  • We will organize poster session and have "poster presentation prize" at every F2F.
  • Awards are for students only.
  • Vote will be made by all the participants, and the vote will be closed at the lunch time of the final day.
  • Ballot paper is prepared with two-types, for permanent staff and others, in order to make statistics.
  • We will award two persons, for his/her "Beautiful Presentation" and "Fruitful Contents".
  • A small awarding ceremony is at the final session.
  • Winners’ names and brief description of their works (provided by authors) will appear in wiki and KSC NewsLetters.

Access

  • From Tokyo, one can either take JR Hokuriku-Shinkansen express (train, 2h10m) or fly from the Tokyo-Haneda airport (55min).
  • From the Toyama airport, one can take a bus to the Toyama station (410 JPY).
  • From the Toyama station to the university, one can take a tram to "Daigaku-mae" (Note that there is also a loop tram that does not go to Daigaku-mae).
