- LVDT driver
- Akutsu-kun checked one LVDT driver in the office. It seems to work fine.
Will bring this one into the tunnel for the hanging test
- Picomotor connection
- Both In-vac and out-vac cables are ready
Will test the connection on Monday
- Fishing rod motor
- In-vac cable assembly failed at the site. No spare D-SUB9 at the site.
Will use a non-vacuum compatible D-SUB for the hanging test.
- Oredered a tool for removing failed pins from D-SUB
- Digital system is not working most of the time
- We should prepare analog alternative for signal checking
- LVDT driver
- PR2 preparation (Mark, Fabian)
- Cleaned up the area
- Set up a temporary clean booth
- Put the steel sheets under the assembly frame
- Hanging frame is now set inside the assembly frame
- Hanging frame is mostly completed
- Location of the EQ stop pillars
- There are 4 holes to hold the EQ stop pillars around the TM, but we use only 3 of them to avoid interference with the main beams.
Takahashi will give Hirata the desired positions of the pillars
Hirata will update the 3D model accordingly and give it to Akutsu
Akutsu will check for the compatibility with the OpLev
- A cable clamp to be attached to the suspension rod has a wrong size collet.
- It is already at the site. To be washed.
- Payload weight issue
- BF load check at the ATC
BF#1 Previous measurement 53.1kg without fishing rod. -> 52.9kg w/o fishing rod, 53.3kg with fishing rod
- The theory that we mistook BF#1 for #2 was wrong.
Check the optimal load for the ETM BFs at the ATC: Need to be done before the end of Jan. Arrange with ATC people (Takahashi)
- Need to prepare additional balast masses with better design
Fabian will design ones on Monday (12/7)
Takahashi and Hirata will make 2D drawings (adding surface treatment information and so on) and order to a company
- BF load check at the ATC
- Traverser actuation check (Shoda)
- Traverser stop mechanism (Shoda)
- Uraguchi-san's plan seems fine
Procurement status (Takahashi): Told Uraguchi-san about our decision. Will order the parts soon.
- Clean work procedure
Particle count record (Shoda): Got the calibration factor from Hasegawa-kun. 104 cnts/m3 for below 0.3um. -> ISO class 5.
Where to put the floor coach filters for PR2 and PR3 work -> Consult with Hirose-san
- Okutomi had a discussion with the cleaning company.
http://gwdoc.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/cgi-bin/private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=4659
KAGRA should have a special meeting for clean requirements (Aso will propose to Saito-san)
- PR CAD model and assembly drawings (Hirata)
Need to give the rotation angle of the traverser top plate (Aso)
- Cable status (Takahashi)
- 12/1: 4th delivery. One more is remaining.
Made a cable list -> Put a link to the excel file on Wiki. Takahashi will improve the table.
- Call for shift for cable checking (Takahashi)
- Liu-kun will come from 12/7
- Call for shift for assembly help (Takahashi)
- Made a call for shift for helping the installation works
- PR2 gluing schedule (Tatsumi)
- Had a discussion with Hirose-san (Aso)
- Hirose-san will apply FC on PR2 on 12/4
- He would like to check the removal of FC on 12/9 from the test hanging suspension. If there is any problem with it, he will redo the FC application on PR2 and PR3 before transportation.
- Schedule
- 12/4: FC application (Hirose)
- 12/7: Flag gluing (Tatsumi)
- 12/10: Packing and transportation (Tatsumi, Manuel, Ishizaki)
- What to transport
- PR2, PR3, original containers of the spare mirror and PR3
- Had a discussion with Hirose-san (Aso)
- Wire cleaning
- We need to clean the suspension wires before the real suspension hanging.
- Buy new wires and do acetone wipe at Mitaka
Hirata will do the actual wiping (Thu or Fri)
Mark will send the LIGO procedure to kagra-seis by Mon.
Fabian will compile the number of wires necessary by Mon.
Takahashi will buy the wires (by Tue)
- Cleaning of the existing winches
- They get dirty by contacting the oilly wires
- The wires to be installed into the vacuum will not contact the drum part
- Wiping the drum will be sufficient
- Production of additional PR winches (Akutsu)
- Most of the parts were delivered.
- ATC engineers is test assembling the winches (mostly complete)
- RM compensation mass
- Design status (Fabian): Do it later.
Order status (Takahashi): Placed an order. Will check the delivery date (Takahashi)
Need to buy screws for fixing the compensation masses. Takahashi will check the lengths of screws
- For the RM assembly in the test hanging, SUS screws were fine (no gulling). So we will use SUS screws.
- RM EQ stop screw position (Takahashi)
Out sourcing: Need to send the plates to the company -> Sent 6 sets on Tue. One set remaining at the site.
- PR Optical Bench (Akutsu)
For PR3 OpLev, we don't need to have an in-vac reflector. So we don't have to raise the optical bench.
- For PR2, we do need to raise the optical bench.
- Delivery date for the screws: Dec. 21
- PR2 vacuum installation will be Jan. 19
- OSEM assembly status (Akutsu)
- 22 OSEMs were assembled
- 10 OSEMs per suspension, so should be enough for PR2 and PR3
- One risk is that they use old flexible circuits.
- Rails for the hanging frame (Hirata)
- The ball exchange of the rails were finished. Already installed into the PR2 hanging frame.
- Test hanging vacuum installation
- Do we have everything necessary
Takahashi willl make a procedure by Mon
- Cleaness check by Hirose
- Hirose will come on Wed.
- What needs to be done when the suspension is inside the chamber ?
- Transfer function measurement
- Spectrum
Do we need OpLev -> Yes
- Check the orientation of the mirror
- Using the laser marker
Use OpLev for pitch ?
- Mark will test the laser lever at Kamioka
- Can we use the arm ducts as tilt reference ? (Ask Saito-san)
- Check the height with laser marker
- Peel off the first contact first
- Practice of the suspension cleaning using the air gun
- Inner frame modal analysis with the suspension (Takahashi)
- Do we have everything necessary
- Next week (from 12/7) plan
