2016/12/9 13:30 -
Participants: Ishizaki, Takahashi, Fabian, Ohishi Mark, Aso, Hirata, Akutsu, Okutomi, Fujii, Sato, Tanaka, Enzo
Progress report
Schedule Chart (PDF,MPP) (To Be Updated)
Type-A (Takahashi)
- Transportation: The pre-isolator and the GAS filters were transported to the 2nd floor of Y-end on 7-8th successfully.
- The second transportation is scheduled on 10-11th in January.
- Pre-isolator: The assembly of pre-isolators for SR was started in ATC.
- EQ stop, release sensor, dummy payload: The parts remained will be delivered on 12th.
- BF damper: The production is on going.
- Maraging wire: The production is on going.
- Tooling for installation: The support frame for the PI was ordered. Investigating a fiber scope.
- Assembly of the remaining PI
The top filter for the SRM is already in Kamioka. -> It makes sense to assemble the PI in the SRM clean booth in situ.
Two PIs for the ITMs. -> depends on the availability of the ATC clean room.
- TMS VIS also need to be assembled, using the ATC room ?: need some coordination.
Type B (Mark)
Mark and Fabian debugged the rubbing issue with the BS. It turns out the EQ stops between the IRM and IM are so misaligned that they can't be used at all. This misalignment was noted on 10/27 klog 2090 but seems to have gotten worse. With the stops removed, the OSEMs (adjusted on 10/27) are still fairly well centered, so the problem probably predates the earthquake of 11/1.
- The IMM/IRM stops were removed, and Fabian installed the brackets that have EQ stop screws for the IRM. (Thus both the IM and IRM can be restrained independently, but not relatively.)
- Mark worked on the PR2 rack:
- Rearranged the items in the rack to make space for new AA and AI chassis at the bottom near the IO chassis.
- Replaced the AA chassis, which had had a group of channels marked as bad by Michimura-san.
- Installed a second AA chassis and a second AI chassis in the rack.
- Installed a second ADC card and a second DAC card in the IO chassis.
- Modified the k1ioppr2 real-time model to recognize the new ADC/DAC cards and also the extra DIO cards installed previously.
Attempted to modify the k1visbs real-time model to recognize the new ADC/DAC cards. Unfortunately, apparently due to changes to library parts made by Okutomi-san, neither the original model or Okutomi-san's new model can be successfully compiled and installed anymore! Debugging is ongoing. (Update: one major problem solved - an argument string referring to the script generate_KisselButton.py had been word-wrapped after "genera". After fixing that, the model now installs. It still has a problem where the ADC signals are not showing up (even though they're making it as far as the k1ioppr2 model.)
- Mark and Fabian did a stocktake of all the unused in-vacuum cables. There should be enough for the BS test hang.
- Fabian finished the redesign of the EQ stops for the BS RM. Hirata-san will refine the 3D design and do drawings.
- Fabian redesigned the cable clamp on top of the multi-purpose cube (on the BS RM) to avoid the need for clips. (These are too easily moved when the cables are moved during installation and removal of the safety bar between the RM and IM, which has to be done many times.) He will do a similar one for SR.
- Mark and Fabian reviewed the previous IJECT payload parts order and flagged the items that need updating.
- Mark worked on task lists and schedule, but the server still won't allow logins to upload anything.
- Hirata-san finished the PR/SR mirror box modifications.
- Hirata-san washed parts (screws and collets).
We need to order 8 more sapphire prisms. The same design as before. (Takahashi)
Type-Bp (Shoda)
- Parts
- EQ stop ring below the BF modification is done. One is in Mitaka, two are in Kamioka.
- Hirata-san finished the 2D drawings of RM/mirror box modification. RM base is passed to Fukushima-san for modification.
- Assembly frames will be modified at 12th and 13th for both PR2 and PR3.
- Hirata-san will wipe the wires for test hanging.
- Schedule
- Shoda is removing the flags from the spare mirror at Kashiwa today.
- Assembly frames will be modified at 12th and 13th for both PR2 and PR3.
- Flags and wire breakers will be glued on the spare mirror at Kashiwa at 15th or 16th with Fujii-kun.
- The mirror will be sent to Kamioka on 19th and will be delivered on 20th morning.
- The hanging test will start from 20th.
- To do
- LVDT combiner final check for new LVDTs (@14th)
- establish mirror disassembly procedure (till February)
- Buying gluing tools for KAGRA use
IMMT (Ohishi)
- Put a report here
Watchdog system (Tanaka)
This experiment is sued in WDS for thermal design verification of the regulator(WDS H/W for power). And VIS meeting materials.JGW-E1605950(PDF)
Safety
- Incidents: no.
- Foreseen risks
- Type-B: Lifting test to see the balance of the BF. We will lift the BF only by a very small amount.
Discussion
- Mirror box modification status (Shoda)
- Design is done
- Asked ATC for modification. Will finish by 12/19
- Wires for RM. 0.65 (seems to be too thick), 0.6, or more thinner?? (Shoda)
- Okutomi will run the Type-B simulation
- Will discuss at the next meeting.
