Progress report
- Type-A: On schedule (with respect to the current schedule)
- Type-B: 8 weeks delay (will install into the chamber on 6/13(Tue))
- Type-Bp: On schedule (with respect to the current schedule, 4 weeks delay from the original)
Type-A (Takahashi)
Past week report
Installation in Y-end:
6th(Tue)
- Tuned the TF. The frequency was 0.30Hz. More compression is necessary.
- Checked the range of FR on the TF. It was 1.5mm. The motor coupler should be replaced.
- Set the F1 height to 60mm by the bottom screws, and hooked the wire to the receptacle on the TF.
- Inserted the wire clamp onto the top plate.
- Measured the yaw deviation of the EQ stop.
- Calibrated the LVDT on the TF.
7th(Wed)
- Made three spacers of 60mm long for the F1.
- Tested hooking of the wire using the removable spacers.
- Set the F1 on the spacers. The bridge frame was dismounted.
- Lifted up the EQ stop and adjusted the yaw deviation.
- Applied cabling to the top plate along the rod of the EQ stop.
8th(Thu)
- Lifted down the EQ stop. The top plate was put on the frame lock.
- Adjusted the position of the frame lock.
- Installed the PI into the chamber. The PI was put on the cone bellows.
- Checked the dimensions around the BF in the cross tube.
9th(Fri)
- Hung the filter chain from the TF.
Plan for coming weeks
- Set the PI in the chamber (Cabling, ACC).
- Set the BF damper in the cross tube.
Type B (Mark)
Past week report
At Kamioka (Mark, Fabian, Enzo, Hirata-san):
- Hirata-san and Mark reversed the support ring for the LBB damper to match the reversed suspension.
- Hirata-san did a trial assembly of the magnet ring for the LLB damper and placed magnets on it with the template.
- Hirata-san and Mark put the base pieces for the Cu ring in the chamber. However it turns out that the holes for attaching the joint pieces are incompletely threaded and we will have to run a tap through them.
- We tested the geophones. At first one didn't work at all. This turned out to be a broken wire in one of the in-vacuum adapter cables. For the test we replaced the adapter with an old-style one (and removed the matching descrambler). A second geophone mostly works but saturates at a suspiciously low number of counts at the ADC (2000 instead of 20000).
- We tested the PI horizontal LVDTs. The #1 (H2) one works but cable swaps showed that #0 and #2 have issues both at the tank end and at the card.
- We decided on a final location for the stepper and pico drivers on the second floor. We moved the cables for the stepper drivers (using the outside cable trays) and laid new LAN and AC cables for the picos.

Week of 6/12:
- Cabling:
- Debug/fix PI vertical LVDTs #0 and #2.
- Calibrate PI vertical LVDT.
- Debug/fix geophone #1.
- Set yoke on PI vertical LVDT (if necessary).
- Cable and test PI yaw stepper.
- Cable and test PI vertical stepper.
- Cable and test PI horizontal steppers.
- Cable and test PI horizontal LVDTs.
- Calibrate PI horizontal LVDTs.
- Prepare LBB.
- Attach LBB outriggers and rod receptacles.
- Prepare LBB Cu ring.
- Remove from tank, fix incompletely threaded holes, reinstall in tank.
- Lay down spacers to protect magnets (in next step).
- Prepare LBB magnet ring.
- Disassemble.
- Pass pieces into tank.
- Reassemble on top of Cu ring.
- Install LBB damper.
- Bind LBB damper rings together with slings.
- Remove vacuum tank lid and ring.
- Crane rings up to install height, hook LBB magnet ring and support LBB Cu ring by TBD method.
- Crane suspension into tank.
- Hook LBB Cu ring.
- Hook LBB.
- Crane vacuum tank lid+ring black on.
- Remove vacuum tank lid (only).
- Remove port covers where feedthroughs will go, move feedthroughs from assembly frame and install on vacuum tank ring.
- Reconnect in-air cables.
Type-Bp (Shoda)
Past week report
- Preparation for PR2 installation.
- Traverser was aligned on the top plate, and moved out of the clean booth.
- RM was assembled except for the front ring.
- Assembly frame was set.
- Hanging frame was not properly set on the assembly frame. we rotated the hanging frame by 180 degrees, and re-set some parts properly.
- BF LVDTs were assembled and calibrated.
- PRM IM assembly
- PEEK parts (F00003: support upper mass) are missing though we found them on 1/11/2017...
- The picomotors at IOO cannot be used for IM because the length is different.
- The IM was partially assembled and put in the plastic box with un-assembled parts and screws.
- PR2 gluing
- All the PR2 flags were removed last weekend.
- Gluing is on going at Kashiwa.

- Hang the mirror and RM.
IMMT (Ohishi)
Past week report
- Ohishi took inventor stage1 training course from 5th-7th June.
Removed IMMT1 from its chamber on 8th June (klog).
- Magnet fixture jig drawings will be fixed today (FCL).
Plan for coming weeks
- Remove IMMT2 mirror from its suspension (14th June).
- Cabling inside the vacuum chamber and parts check(15th June).
- Machining of magnet fixture jig will start from 12th (FCL).

- Type-Bp: small parts on the IM are missing. Will order them.
- Type-Bp: Picomotors are already ordered. Ask Newport to deliver the ones in stock.
- Cables
- We need to add new types (length) of cables for better cabling for PR and SR.
- Mark will send his cable plan to Shoda, Sato, Takahashi and Aso. After confirmation, we will place an order.
- If we order the cable assembly now, the cables for PRM should arrive by the mid July.
