Announcement
- EO is asking to clarify the role of subchiefs and, in this regards, is asking about VIS subchiefs. In addition to Shoda-san, whose position was created to be sub-chief of VIS for VIS control and who is also in charge of Type Bp, we should show also the other subchiefs in charge of the other type of suspensions (A, B and C) on the KAGRA organization chart.

- Cabling from the F3 to the F2.
22nd(Tue)
- Continued the cabling.
- Calibrated the LVDT in the F2.
- Started the tuning of F2. Initial frequency was 0.7Hz.
23rd(Wed)
- Tuned the F2 with changing the compression of blade. The filter went to bi-stable.
24th(Thu)
- Continued the tuning of F2. The lowest frequency was 0.6Hz.
25th(Fri)
- Adjusted the strength to fasten screws for the cap of F3.

- Transported the bridge frame to the Y-end entrance.

- Finish the installation of the Filter2.

Past week report
At Kamioka (Mark, Ohishi-san, Enzo, Yoshioka-kun):
- We installed the cut-down ballast mass under the IM and tweaked the IM height and balance.
- We checked the range of the BF FR.
- We adjusted the BF yoke by 2.5 mm to make it give ≈0 output for nominal height.
- We found a good gain setting for the LVDT driver and calibrated the BF LVDT.
- We set up the optical sensors facing the RM.
- We assembled the IRM (with OSEMs) around the IM and got it mostly adjusted.
- We changed the k1visbs model to restore the as-designed mapping of OSEMs to DAQ channels.
- We confirmed that the BF LVDT actuation coil and the TM OSEM coils were working.
- We connected up the IRM OSEMs (with the new Type 5-1.7 cables) but found there was an electrical issue: all the OSEMs are reading back the same constant value, around 1115.
- We left the suspension in a state suitable for TFs from BF GAS actuation to sensing (in vertical) and from RM OSEM actuation to the optical sensors (in horizontal) over the weekend.
At Mitaka (Hirata-san):
- He got quotes for the SR assembly frame and did cost-reduction negotiations with Aso-san and Mirapro.

- He did 2D drawings and a parts list for the divided LBB dampers.
- He contacted a company about SDC.
- He made a 3D model and drawings for the SR wire clamps.
Plan for week of 8/28
Kamioka: Mark (except Tue), Ohishi-san, Fabian (except Tue), Enzo (except Tue), Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun (Fri), Kozu-kun (Thu, Fri).
- Fix/adjust IRM OSEMs.
- Add BF cap; cable and test BF-1 and BF-2 picos.
- Lift and weigh BF/IRM/IM/RM/BS; adjust ballast mass.
- Crane in SF.
- Suspend BF/IRM/IM/RM/BS.

Past week report
- Hanged IM/IRM
- We hanged IM and adjusted the weight and balance. Balance is adjusted according to the mirror tilt (1/300) in pitch, and according to the laser marker (horizontal) in roll.
- We assembled the IRM and adjusted the position. OSEMs are also adjusted. Cabling is also done.
- We measured the transfer functions, and found the TF in V and P is weird. We found that the OSEM is slightly touching, and re-adjusted.
- Now we checked the TF in V is working well, while the TF in P is not yet checked. It is because we cannot run PRM and PR3 model simultaneously because of shortage of the power supply. Now IM OSEM signals are used by Yoshida-kun and we could not check yet.
- Actuation check is done for picomotors and fishing rod.
- BF GAS status
- The resonant frequency is 0.47 Hz.
- BF LVDT is also calibrated.
- PRM DGS
- IO chassis cannot be run with many boards. Miyakawa-san bought the power supply with larger current. We will try it next week.
- BF cap
- The surface of the BF cap does not seem to be treated... We have many strings of the wipes and clothes on the top of the cap...
