Summary Report
Type-A
- Adjusted the heater control in IY, but the BF GAS has saturated.
- Replaced the coil driver for the accelerometers from the mid-power one to the low-power one in IY.
Type-B
- I calculated the shape of the SR3 F0 LVDT correction filter and its expected sensitivity. I used an upper limit of the seismic motion.
- I calculated the corrected LVDT sensitivity for midsize and small amplitude microseismic motion. In both cases, the new filter reduced the microseismic secondary peak contribution. It seems we can use this filter for every microseismic condition.
- The filter was uploaded in the filter banks. I had to remove high frequency poles and zeros for Foton to accept it. I made a mistake in doing this, but this should not have a large impact. The difference in amplitude was about 0.6%. I'll correct this error next week.
- We still need to assess the sensitivity of the corrected LVDT, and make sure it's consistent with the expectations. We would need to add a few simple elements to the real-time model.
