Vibration Isolation System (VIS)

Subsystem Definition

This subsystem makes vibration isolation for all optics used in KAGRA.
The test mass mirrors are cooled to 20K through heat links. Though the mechanical design for the cryogenic suspensions is included by the task of this subsystem , the final stage which consists of a sapphire mirror and sapphire wires is provided by the cryogenic subsystem. The heat links are not included in this subsystem either.
